This notice describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website of the Adelma Association (www.adelma.org), in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) while you browse. They serve to make the site work, to store preferences or, in some cases, to collect statistical or profiling information. Cookies may be "first-party" (set by the site you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by external services integrated into the site).
2. Cookies used by this site
Adelma's website is designed according to the principle of data minimisation: we do not use profiling, marketing or advertising-tracking cookies, and we do not employ analytics tools that identify individual visitors.
- Essential technical cookies: The provider hosting the site may set technical cookies strictly necessary for the security and proper functioning of the service (for example, protection against cyber attacks). These cookies do not require your consent under current legislation, have a limited duration, and are not used to identify or track you.
- No analytics or third-party marketing cookies: There are no Google Analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies or similar tools.
3. External resources
For visit statistics, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service that installs no cookies and does not identify individual visitors: it collects exclusively aggregate data (number of visits and pages viewed).
To display its typefaces, the site loads fonts from the Google Fonts service. This service does not install cookies on your device; however, loading the fonts involves the technical transmission of your IP address to the provider's servers. Further information is available in the Google Fonts privacy policy.
4. Contact forms
The data you voluntarily enter in the contact and registration forms on the site are not collected through cookies and are processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Specific instructions are available on the support pages of the main browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Disabling essential technical cookies may impair some of the site's security features.
6. Changes to this notice
Should the site in future integrate tools that use cookies subject to consent (for example visit statistics or embedded third-party content), this notice will be updated and, where required by law, a consent mechanism will be introduced. The version published on the site is the one currently in force.
